G350 – A Universal Machining Center
The new G350 Universal Machining Center adds to the successful G series and opens up an even larger application range for the current G modules. The modules of the G350 series come, like all modules of the G series, from the same standard component program. The G350 is characterized particularly by its compact design and allows for outstanding visibility into and access to the working areas.
Horizontal spindle arrangement
An optimized chip removal is achieved due to the vertical arrangement of part traveling axis. The compact dimensions of the machine are a result of our unique design for the spindle position in X and Z axis and the Y-movement of the workpiece.
State-of-the-Art GROB Technology
As do all machines from GROB, the G350 features greatest dynamics and machine stiffness.
Optimized Flexibility
The G350 is a Universal Machining Center which can have its configuration adapted to your specific requirements.
Controls
The G350 works with a state-of-the-art shop control: • Siemens 840D Solution Line / Shop Mill • Heidenhain iTCN 530, which is comfortable and easy to operate.
Fanuc 31i will be available in February 2009.
Axis Controls
It is possible to have positioning operation as well as simultaneous interpolation of all configurable axes.
Very economical
Just like all machines of the G series, the G350 is optimally suited for wet and dry machining. Since we have shared most of the components from the G Series machines and due to intelligent production processes it was possible to keep the investment requirements for the development of this G350 Series extremely low. Its compact design requires only minimal space.
